7th World Congress of Dermoscopy

The French city of Lyon is very proud to have been chosen to host the 7th World Congress of International Dermoscopy Society, 12-15 May 2027.

Our goal, nine years after the very successful meeting in Thessaloniki (3000+ attendees), is to bring back the Congress in Europe, where historically resides the largest community of dermoscopy users, in order to federate around this project a large proportion of the actors (dermatologists, dermato-oncologists, skin cancer trained GPs, dermoscopy technicians and practicing nurses) involved every day in the difficult endeavor to early detect and efficiently treat skin cancer, spread prevention messages in order to lower its incidence, as well as the growing community of actors involved in the use of dermoscopy for the diagnosis of inflammatory skin diseases, hair abnormalities and cosmetics.
Moreover, you can expect world-class researchers and experts who contributed to the development of dermoscopy and non-invasive skin imaging techniques since their beginnings.

Lyon is a very attractive city with large experience in hosting international congresses; it offers perfectly equipped facilities, a real touristic and cultural interest with its Gallo-Roman vestiges, its world renowned cuisine and its ideal location at the southern border of Burgundy vineyards and at the northern entry into the Côte du Rhone wine district.
The Lyon University hospital dermatology team has been involved in many research activities in the field of dermoscopy and non-invasive imaging since the foundation of the IDS, and, with the help of renown world class experts who accepted to be involved in the co-presidency, the local organizing committee and the international scientific committee, we believe that you will all find during our sessions a fruitful update on the dermoscopy approach of the diagnosis of all skin diseases and insights into the very active research in this field.

We sincerely hope you will join us at the Lyon Dermoscopy World Meeting in 2027 — a unique opportunity to connect with dermatologists, skin cancer specialists, medical professionals, and the growing community engaged in dermoscopy and non-invasive skin imaging, across all aspects of skin health.
