35rd Ernst Klenk Symposium in Molecular Medicine - Rare Diseases: From mechanisms to therapy and beyond

This year’s Klenk Symposium 2019 will bring together an outstanding and diverse group of scientists at the forefront of rare diseases who will share and discuss the latest advances in the following areas:

•      Technologies to understand functional impact of human variation causing rare diseases
•      Small molecule-based therapy in neurological disorders
•      Gene therapy to treat rare disorders
•      Rare kidney and endocrine disorders and therapy

We are honored to announce that Prof. Dr. Arthur H M Burghes (The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus - US) has accepted our invitation to be the honorary guest speaker of the Ernst Klenk Lecture (Sept. 16, 2019 at 6 p.m.) and to act as scientific coordinator.
 
We are expecting a highly interactive meeting sparked by the panel of internationally renowned speakers, who will discuss their latest research developments with an audience of scientists, physicians and in particular junior researchers and students.
