25th EDF Annual Meeting 2022

EDF Annual Meeting 2022 will be conducted VIRTUALLY – Face-to-face meeting in Montreux cancelled

After careful consideration of the current Corona developments in Switzerland and taking into account the significantly increasing numbers of infections each day, I very much regret to inform you that the EDF Board has decided to cancel the face-to-face meeting in Montreux this year. Over the last weeks, the highly infectious nature of the Omicron variant has become clear and we strongly feel that the risk to your personal safety through a face-to-face meeting would be too high even with strict safety protocols in place.
Although we are aware of the fact that a virtual alternative will not be able to replace the spirit of a live meeting, we will proceed with a slimmer online version of the program. A detailed program schedule will be provided on our website within the next days.
Obviously, we will refund the already paid Network Dinner fees. We kindly ask you for your understanding that this will take a couple of days.
Hotel cancellation policy:
All hotel reservations, which have been made through our EDF website hotel platform, will be cancelled by the EDF Convention Team.
All other bookings made via other booking platforms or directly with the hotel should be cancelled by the attendees themselves free of charge at least 7 days prior to their planned arrival. We therefore kindly ask you to cancel your booking in due time.

The European Dermatology Forum (EDF) is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to improving the skin health of people in Europe. The EDF is now more than 20 years old, having been founded in 1997 by a group of leading European Professors of Dermatology.
The EDF mission is to implement actions aimed at preventing skin disease and improving the quality of health care for dermatological and venereological patients in Europe, notably by strengthening the position and reducing the health economic impact of dermato-venereology and its several subspecialties, such as allergology and dermato-oncology, to the benefit of our patients and our profession.
Every year, the EDF organizes a 2-day Annual General Meeting in January with a rich scientific program including plenary lectures, thematic symposia, industry symposia, EDF working group meetings and reports, as well as updates from several European Sister Societies.
The annual meeting of the EDF is attended by over 150 delegates including EDF members, Corporate members and guests. The fascinating scientific program and ideal platform for constructive networking make it a highlight for key opinion leaders in dermatovenereology across Europe.
